Health Awareness
The Jharkhand Art and Cultural Research Institute, Repertory & Theatre Academy is actively engaged in promoting health awareness, with a special focus on malaria prevention and control. Through this Malaria Awareness Campaign, the organization educates people about the causes, symptoms, prevention, and treatment of malaria. The campaign includes street plays, interactive workshops, poster drives, and community discussions to spread awareness in both urban and rural areas. Special emphasis is placed on using theatre and visual storytelling to effectively communicate preventive measures such as using mosquito nets, maintaining cleanliness, eliminating stagnant water, and seeking early medical treatment.
The campaign collaborates with local health departments and medical professionals to conduct free health check-up camps and malaria screenings in high-risk areas. Additionally, the organization distributes medicines, mosquito repellents, and informative leaflets to ensure widespread awareness. By integrating performing arts with public health initiatives, the institute aims to reduce malaria cases and build a healthier society. Moving forward, the campaign will continue to expand its reach, leveraging digital media and grassroots engagement to ensure effective and lasting impact in the fight against malaria.
